Waldringfield Golf and Leisure

Welcome to Waldringfield Golf and Leisure situated near Ipswich on the main A12/A14 and within easy reach of Woodbridge, Felixstowe and the Suffolk Coastal area. In addition to our attractive 18 hole golf course, we regularly cater for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, dinner dances and parties. Whatever the event or celebration, our spacious clubhouse, ample car parking and beautiful surroundings provide the perfect location.

The golf course was created in 1983 and originally designed by P. Pilgrem as a 9 hole course. It was extended to 18 holes in 1987, creating a picturesque heathland course which has developed into a Suffolk golfing gem. Now measuring 6,046 yards from the white tees it offers an enjoyable challenge for all standards of golf. In recent years substantial new investment has been committed to the care and maintenance of the course. During the winter months, our free draining sandy soil allows for virtually uninterrupted play.

Nature also provides the hazards in the form of gorse, which enhances the entire course with its attractive yellow flowers and delicious almond scent which is in bloom for most of the year. All these elements demand accuracy from tee to green whilst still maintaining the ability for fast moving, free flowing play.  Returning visitors are testament to the improvements that have been made year on year.
